These days the Cairns Greyhound Racing Club is endeavouring to bring more people back to the sport of Greyhound Racing. We race most Saturday nights at Cannon Park & welcome new trainers and owners to our club along with visiting trainers and their dogs who we love to see grace our track.
Our hard working committee are hoping to see our club once again flourish with many new ideas and our ongoing support from our locals.

You are invited to come along and watch the greyhounds run at Cannon Park on Saturday nights. It's something the whole family can enjoy. Entry is FREE. Gates open at 6 p.m. Plenty of room undercover for the kids to run and play while mum and dad get down to the serious business of backing a winner. Have a delicious meal and a few drinks from our canteen, buy a ticket in the raffle and maybe win a prize."
